FloorNZ Excellence in Flooring Awards 2025

The Flooring Awards aim to highlight outstanding craftsmanship and innovation in our industry, while also offering valuable opportunities for networking, industry promotion, and recognition for sponsors, finalists, and winners.

We would like to invite all our members to the FloorNZ Excellence in Flooring Awards 2025 evening being held in conjunction with the Apprentice of the Year Awards.

📅 Event Details

• When: Thursday 7 May 2026, 6.30–11.00pm
• Where: Waipuna Hotel and Conference Centre, Auckland
• Dress Code: Smart casual
• What to expect: Ben Hurley as MC, Dinner, Presentation of Awards

🎟 Ticketing

• $30 inc. GST for the first 2 seats.
• $120 inc. GST for each additional seat.

Please note:

• Seating is limited.
• Priority will be given to the $30 tickets on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
• Additional $120 tickets will only be allocated if space permits.

Please complete the registration form below for your business/store and return to admin@floornz.org.nz by 10^th April 2026.

Award Categories:

From each category category below, the finalists will be selected, with the overall category winners announced on the night.

• Commercial Hard Floor of the Year – Resilient floors (coving, inlays), Wet area flooring, Rubber, Walls LVT, Hybrid, Laminate, Engineered timber, Solid timber, Sanding & finishing
• Commercial Carpet of the Year – Woven, Tufted, Carpet tiles, Needle punch carpet
• Residential Hard Floor of the Year – Vinyl sheet, LVT, Hybrid, Laminate, Engineered timber, Solid timber, Sanding and finishing
• Residential Carpet of the Year – Woven, Tufted, Carpet tiles, Garage carpet
• Overall Floor of the Year – from the winners of the above categories, FloorNZ will award the prestigious Floor of the Year 2025
