Squeaking Floor Faults and Remedies Online Workshop
The second ATFA online workshop of the year will be on Squeaking floor faults and remedies which is proudly sponsored by Berger-Seidle.
This online workshop will be conducted on Thursday 27th April over a 3-hour period. You watch and listen live through an ATFA Microsoft Teams portal, from your office, lounge room or anywhere you have internet access.

Who is this online course for?
Squeaking floors can be a real nightmare. This workshop will illustrate the types of squeaks floors can develop and how to identify the cause of the squeaking in your project. It will also look at ways to remediate squeaks in a variety of ways – from minor touch-ups to more invasive repairs.
The course is ideally suited to all contractors, whether vastly experienced or relatively new to the industry, timber and adhesive manufacturers, as well as retailers, suppliers and insurance company assessors.
Irrespective of whether you have been in the industry for a short period or for some time, there is always vital information you can learn.
This workshop will include:
- The main causes of squeaking boards in different flooring types
- How to identify the causes of the squeaks
- Common ways to remediate squeaks in a variety of different flooring types.
- Things to avoid during the install process to reduce the risk of squeaks in the future
