Retentions for Sub-contractors Survey

The Specialist Trade Contractors Federation has had a good discussion with Government agencies around the growing concern of using both bonds and retentions on sub-contractors and would like to collect some data for using in their discussions with Government. Below is the link to a short survey that will remain open for the next 2 weeks allowing time for collection.

The information from this survey will remain confidential only to the STCF office and all information will be aggregated so individual responses cannot be identified.

STCF is pleased to announce the new NZS 3910:2023 Conditions of contract for building and civil engineering construction is now published and available to purchase.
The 2023 revision of NZS 3910 is the first substantial revision in a decade, jointly commissioned by the Construction Sector Accord (through Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment Hīkina Whakatutuki) and the New Zealand Infrastructure Commission, Te Waihanga with funding from STCF.
